Hello Other Citroen Ax owners, Found your site and found it very intresting and funny at times with the sticker fights haha.

I bourght my first ever Citroen Ax as my first car after a few rows with my father as i wanted a Citroen "cough" c2 "cough" but he insisted that i get a light cheap to run super mini as my Mum had years back. So i went along with the idea. I used to race Mini and i was Autograss champion 2005-6 so i thought the ax was going to be like a mini inside basic, light, rotten how wrong was i! Except for the rust that is "oops putting my ax down again" And i now love my little Ax.

My Ax i purchased it in June this year with a blown engine for £200 seemed really solid no rust except for the usuall patch by the chassis leg it is a 1996 n reg with 76k on the clock, One week later i came across a Saxo engine with 16k on the clock for £150 so i bought that and had it fitted within 2 days. Then i seemed to loose a few weeks buying loads of service parts new brakes all round (didnt need doing but this is me i wanted everything new) new brake hoses all round ect... the list goes on like that i suppose. Then today i have just got a Sport suspension kit including 4 shocks and 2 springs which was £50!! Amazing for the price somebody got them new and never used them.

So hopefully within a month or so from now my car will be like a new little supermini which is like new inside with 1 lady owner from new before me.

And so there is my story, sorry it might not make sense so excited with my new suspension kit i got today.
Thanks Ross.

Top search off google last month was "axoc" at 72 hits. SECOND with 15 hits was "stiff nipples" also at number 12 with 4 hits "one man one screwdriver". So far this month we've had 2 hits for "pedobear avatar"

Pov spec (as its commonly refferd to on here) has the flat rear arches. Wheras the Forte, GT and GTi have more sporty front bumper with fog lights as well as plastic arches all round (round rear arches because of this) and skirt peices.
Usually its the 1.0 1.1 (small engine'd) models that are 'pov spec' except with the forte which came in 1.1 and 1.4.

Sounds like a good car so far and like its gone to a good owner.

Get some pics up!

Welcome mate want to see some pictures! is it a saxo 1.1 engine? theyre preety fucking nippy, got quick acceleration and i think an ax is lighter 2. would be good to see it go against a 1.1 forte.
