Loads of Parts. Mostly Mechanical inc some performance/Race

Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:47 pm

Having a tidy up in the Garage. Been collecting bits & pieces for about 15 years.
Me & my daughter were both Racing AX`s at some point hence keeping loads of spares.
Both moving on to Fords now and can`t see us back in an AX any time soon so going to offer this lot up.
Mostly Mechanical Parts including:
Engines, Gearboxes, Suspension, Carbs, Dizzy`s, Calipers, Starters, Cylinder Heads, Exhausts.
Amongst it is 4 Branch Fanimold, Lightened Flywheel, GT Head with Uprated Cam (can`t remember make).
Pictures available. Prefer to sell as a job lot but appreciate that not all bits will be of interest to just one person.
Don`t really want to get involved with posting out loads of individual bits but feel free to ask.
Currently located in Reading near JCT 12 M4 but can also bring parts home to Swindon for collection.

Is the GT head the one pictured? Only thats not a GT carb on it...

How much for the 4 branch manifold posted please, and do you have any lowering springs - again price if so?

Would also be interested in a price for everything - collected obviously.
I am after some MK1 bits. Can you help? click here

Have you got a spare Dizzy mounting, the bit that the dizzy mounts to and allows it to twist, I've sheard off a mounting lug on mine.
Ax GT(VTR) in the making, gotta be the record for the longest engine conversion ever.
Finally The AX GT(VTR) is nearing completion after only 8 years... And it broke again...

It`s standard Gt clutch on it at the minute. Not aware that the GTi clutch was any different so would say yes.

In 2nd picture above, do you mean part that is on Dizzy or the housing to the right?
