Just done this on the GT what does it mean if if it says SORN not due on the vehicle status bit?

it means the car is off the road so you don't have to pay tax

Statutory Off Road Notification

Vehicle is declared as off road so you dont pay tax on it

Driving it on the road is a massive no-no as technically they could do you for fraud if they wanted

you should get a letter when the SORN is due to be renewed (needs renewing every year), at which point you can either tax it or SORN it again. You can still tax it at any time with the V5, incurance and MOT or do it online

You also have to renew the sorn when you change ownership :shock: it doenst automatically change over, thats how i lost that white GT i had :cry:
